In fact it's probably the worse neighborhood in Chicago. A big majority of the shootings you hear about on the news happen in Roseland. I'm sure you heard the story of the teenage boy that was killed earlier this year while riding the bus to school. He was a police officer's son. Some kids got on the bus with guns and started shooting. He jumped in front of a female friend of his trying to protect her and got shot and killed - they even showed parts of his funeral on the news. That was in Roseland. Of all the neighborhood you could choose, I would by no means recommend that one. Roseland aka “the hundreds” aka “the WILD WILD hundreds” is not a very safe area.
