we have been pre- approve for 200k home loan, we have been considering moving to Hanover park but I really want to stay in chicago, I live in a nice part of the city and never thought my husband and I would be able to afford a home in Chicago but we have saw a lot of good deals on homes in foreclosure. but the still a little to much, so should we buy now and settle for living in Hanover Park or should we wait? What would you do? do you think the prices of homes are going to drop more?

I am a Certified Mortgage Planner and I live in beautiful Beverly which is a neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. The neighborhoods around me are amazing and you could definitely find a house that would fit your budget. I love it down here and i’m only 20 minutes from downtown and my taxes are really low too. Foreclosures are a tough game so you would want to really research it.
